New Triple Dog Gas Downloader
The Triple Dog Gas Downloader is programm/tuner that downloads horsepower and performance enhancing programs into three different vehicle makes of gas powered pickup trucks and the Ford Mustang GT all in one part number. The downloader offers two different engine performance tunes above stock to accomodate various driving conditions.

Engine Tuning Programs
- Stock: Stock engine settings will result in no change to engine horsepower output but will allow you to change vehicle specific features such as tire size re-calibratoin, speed limiter removal, transmission shift settings, etc.
- Regular: This engine tune/program is recommended for use with 85 or 87 octane gasoline. For maximum effectiveness, end users should increase the shift firmness and shift points. This tune can be used for everyday driving and towing. Dynamometer tesing results have shown a 10-15 horsepower increase in rear wheel horsepower. These horsepower results vary depending on application.
- Premium: This engine tune/program is recommended for use with 91 or 93 octane gasoline. It is recommended that shift firmness and shift points be raised with this engine tune. This tune can be used for everyday driving, towing, and racing. Dynamometer testing results have a 24-30 horsepower increase in rear wheel horsepower.
The Triple Dog Gas Downloader as offers various vehicle specific features. These features range from improved transmission settings, speedometer re-calibration for larger or smaller tire size, gear ratio change re-calibration, speed limiter removal, and many more. How To
- Install the Triple Dog: The Triple Dog plugs into the OBDII port beneath your steering column for programming.
- Triple Dog saves the OEM data for analysis and re-installation.
- Triple Dog installs Bully Dog optimized settings and any end user feature selections.
- When Triple Dog finishes the programming process, the end user unplugs the Triple Dog and puts it back in the plastic carry case for future use.
- Transfer to a different/new vehicle: The Triple Dog can only be installed on one vehicle at a time.
- Restore original factory settings
- Update the Triple Dog online using the Update Agent software
- Check for new vehicle compatbility
- Install Triple Dog on new vehicle.
- Update Online: Internet updates are made available when improved tuning, new calibrations, and new vehicle applications become available. These updates are free to the end user. These updates are available from the Update Agent, Bully Dog's free update software. The end user must restore the factory settings before the downloaer can be updated. Failure to restore factory settings before updating could corrupt the OEM data stored on the Triple Dog.

- Speed Limiter: Adjust speed limiter from 40 mph for a speed governing effect up to 140 mph for racing. Speedlimiter is adjusted in increments of 2 mph.
- Calibrate OEM Speedometer: Accurately display speed on the OEM speedometer with larger or smaller than stock tires. Adjust for tire sizes from 24" up to 35" in diameter.

- GM Pickup and SUV 1999-2007 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 8.1L
- Transmission Tuning (does not work for the 8.1L): Choose between a Performance, Tow, and Stock shift firmness for automatic transmissions.
- Transmission Shift Points (does not work for the 8.1L): Change RPM that shifting takes place for automatic transmission.
- Speed Limiter (does not work on 2001): Adjust speed limiter from 50 mph for a speed governing effect up to 135 mph for racing. Speed limiter is adjusted in increments of 5 mph.
- Adjust Gear Ratio: Correct the engine computer to account for a different size gear ration. Adjust from 3.42 up to 4.56.
- Calibrate OEM Speedometer: Accuratley displays speed on the OEM speedometer with larger or smaller than stock tires. Adjust for tire sizes from 25" up to 45" in diameter. The ABS light on the dash may light up when using tire sizes larger than 35".
- 2007+ New Body Style GM Pickup and SUV 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L
- Similar features as Classic Body Style
- Therefore, Trasmission Control Module (TCM) is supported
- Active Fuel Management is retained

- Dodge Specific Features
- Dodge Ram 5.7L Hemi 2003-2008:
- Tranismission Shift Points (only for 2004-2008): Change RPM that shifting takes place in an automatic transmission.
- Speed Limiter: Adjust the vehicle speed limiter from 50-200 mph in increments of 1 mph.
- Calibrate OEM Speedometer: Accurately display speed on the OEM speedometer with larger or smaller than stock tires. Adjust for tire sizes from 23" up to 45" in diameter. The ABS light on the dash may light up when using tire sizes larger than 35".
